Tips and Tricks

How to Make Juicy Chicken?

Pat your chicken dry.

Air fry at 360F for 30 minutes, 35-40 minutes for larger legs .

Look for legs are smaller and the meat is juicier and more tender.

Brush the chicken with olive oil at 20 minutes mark. This will maintain the skin’s moisture and glossy sheen.

Do not over cook the chicken. Check for doneness at 30 minutes mark. Check the inside of the chicken by making a slit in the chicken. Cook for a further five to ten minutes if the meat is still bloody.

Please use my homemade dry rub recipe to prepare the dry rub. Additionally, dry rub is available in bottles in the spices section of supermarkets.

Dry Spice rub Chicken

Ingredients

The best part you only need 2 ingredients 😀

I adore how easy this recipe is to make. Everything is done with a chicken leg, a spice rub, and an air fryer. You basically just mix chicken with spice rub and cook.

Chicken  : I am using skinless chicken legs. The higher the quality of the meat, the better it will taste, especially when it comes to meat.

Dry Rub: I love this dry rub so much! Perfect for any dish calling for grilled, roasted, or fried chicken!

I have the nicest dry spice rub recipe ever that is all DIY. You can make your own dry rub for chicken, ribs, steaks, hog, turkey, and other meats with just 6 simple components. To view my dry rub recipe, go here.

There’s plenty of flavor in this dry spice rub.

Can I use different chicken cuts?

You can, of course. Think of the chicken as the blank canvas for this flavorful marinade, so have fun!

Method

Chicken Legs

Preheat air fry  to 360°F.

Rinse the chicken legs with cold water, drain and pat dry with paper towels. Rub the dry rub generously onto the skin and meat of the legs.

Transfer the chicken to an air fryer and cook.

Take the chicken out after 20 minutes and brush it with olive oil. Turn the chicken legs to the other side and cook for another 10 minutes. You can also bake at 375°F for 30 minutes in oven.

Make a slit through the chicken to check its doneness. cook the chicken for an additional five to ten minutes if necessary. Your favourite sauce should be served with the chicken. I enjoy it with my favourite tangy mint sauce or barbecue sauce.
